GWYN GILLISS   

CEO and Creator of the 

THE INTERNATIONAL ACTORS SUMMIT

Gwyn studied theater and playwriting at Carnegie Mellon University and was an Emmy Award nominated Daytime/Primetime TV actress with over a dozen contract and recurring roles. Favorites include: All My Children, (ABC), One Life to Live, (CBS),  Guiding Light, The Lucy Arnaz Show (CBS) and Woman of Valor (NBC) which received an Emmy Award. She appeared on and off Broadway as well as performing in classical repertory theater productions- from Shakespeare to Noel Coward.

After a brief stint studying economics at Harvard and political science at Oxford, Gwyn began her screenwriting career- founding Laight Street Films in Robert DeNiro’s Tribeca NYC film community. She created Bloggers, a comedy pilot (HBO style). Her film, Fairytale shot in Paris and the south of France was selected as a finalist by the Beverly Hills Film Festival and was honored at Cannes. Gwyn developed a comedic pilot, Haupt Air, a drama, Enraptured optioned for Australian TV and Heavenly Heist, a comedic adventure film in London.

As the "Foremost International Marketing Mentor for Actors" Gwyn writes a monthly column for Backstage, the trade paper with a subscription of over 250,000 International actors. She has been a key note speaker at the London, New York and LA Actors Pro Expo's for several years. She's produced successful bi-coastal events for decades- the New York ActorMarathon and the LA ActorMarathon where International clients flew in to attend the LIVE Events, meeting dozens of Top Industry.

In the past year she developed the highly successful virtual monthly Event, The Real Deal with top Agents and Casting Directors, the yearlong program, ActorPreneurs Academy as well as the weekly small group coaching, Strategy Circle. 

 

The International Actor's Summit 2021 is the first of any virtual Event uniting actors in all countries to compete in a new global market.

GIORGIA VALENTI

Event Planner and Executive Assistant

THE INTERNATIONAL ACTORS SUMMIT

Giorgia graduated with Honors from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts with a Major in Drama and a Minor in Dance. Here she trained in Meisner with Vicki Hart, Grotowsky with Jonathan Makwaia, Commedia Dell’Arte with Jim Calder and The Method with Geoffrey Horne. She has also done a summer intensive at Guildhall School of Drama and Music in Shakespeare.  ​

Valenti’s on camera work includes her co-starring role in The Right Reasons, a satire of The Bachelor written by CAA represented writer Liana Soneclear, for which she got a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Lee Strasberg Film Festival. She also has co-produced and co-starred in a new film called ‘Til Morning that is currently in Post-Production. Other films that Giorgia starred in have gotten recognition at The Cutting Room Film Festival, The New York Short Film Festival, the Hudson Comedy Film Festival and more.

This International beauty Model-turned Actress is no stranger to producing theater and LIVE events as well as films. She created her own theater company, Et Alia Theater in New York and is actively promoting the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Global Form Festival this summer!

Giorgia joined the IAS Team as an Event Planner/Executive Assistant and looks forward to a happy, exciting and successful Summit Event in August!

NAIRA BAHRAMI

Social Media Associate

THE INTERNATIONAL ACTORS SUMMIT

Naira Bahrami is a third-year student at the University of Toronto. She has performed in numerous theatre productions, her favorites including Macbeth, The Glass Menagerie, The Mousetrap, and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Naira is also interested in writing and directing and is currently in the process of writing her first screenplay.
She has joined the International Actors Summit team as a Social Media Associate and is looking forward to a fantastic event in August!
