Why work with a Coach or Mentor?

Want to be 98% more successful ? Work with a Coach!  Listen here...

What Does a Career Coach do?

A Coach helps you with actionable steps, provides accountability for your progress and a time frame to achieve your goals. It’s personal and usually involves meeting one-on-one weekly or bi-weekly. I use SKYPE and FACE TIME since my clients are global. It’s like “being in the room” with you face-to-face. It’s fun - we laugh a lot but we accomplish a lot, too!

What is a Mentor?

A Mentor is a more mature person who’s been there, done that - someone who can guide your career by relating their own knowledge and experience. A Marketing Mentor teaches you how to become known in the industry through marketing tools and marketing campaigns - meeting top players and promoting your talent and brand through communication with the industry. This is how you get work! Talent is a waste if you’re sitting on a shelf or in an acting class. You need to be in the race if you’re going to win it! A Marketing Mentor helps you build your network getting to know those professionals who will hire you in all medias.

Do I Need a Coach? A Mentor?

No. Like most actors you could assume that you’ll become successful on your own. But, you’d be wrong. No one successfully gets to the pinnacle of a career in TV, Film (Hollywood) or Theater (London, New York) on their own. They had help. Going alone means struggling while you try to figure out how to get auditions, why it’s so hard to get an agent and why you aren’t considered for major roles. A savvy actor doesn’t waste time or resources - they cut to the chase. They ask. And they work with someone who knows - not a life coach, an acting teacher or a fellow actor who’s also struggling but someone who guarantees they’ll succeed!

Can I afford a Career Coach or Mentor?

Absolutely. You can afford head shots, a website, an acting class, industry seminars can’t you? Coaching doesn’t cost any more. More important than any of these is a clear path to get WORK. Coaching is reasonable and actually a huge return on a small investment. Spend a few hundred dollars on a class or taking a seminar and what’s the return? You’re still without an agent or a major role. Work with a coach and that scenario changes, I promise. What they are saying....

Gwyn’s support and knowledge has been invaluable! She’s fun and to the point - this lady doesn't mess around! She is only for the performer who is ready to take his/her career to the next level and I’m glad I did!

Due to Gwyn's coaching and brilliant advice, I recently signed with the TOP agent in Toronto, got several auditions and bookings for films and TV series - NBC "Taken", CBS and CW... I just shot a co-starring role in CBS-BBC co-production and now, I booked a Prime Time guest starring spot opposite Kiefer Sutherland in the new CBS series, "Designated Survivor."  How anyone can make it without someone like Gwyn in their corner – who’s done this and knows how to guide an actor to success-- is beyond me! Thanks Gwyn!
